Tzvika Furman

Tzvika Furman is an experienced business and technology leader and the co-founder and CEO of Kiinns – a foodtech startup.

Following receiving his B.Sc in mechanical engineering from the Technion in 1999, Tzvika has launched a long and fruitful career in the semiconductor, defense, medical and food industries.

Starting at the semiconductor company KLA-Tencor as the mechanical engineering team leader he then continued to assume a mechanical engineering position at Rafael.

In 2005 Tzvika joined Biosense-Webster – A leading medical company in the field of diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, where he established and directed the company’s mechanical engineering department.

Next, he established and directed Sanmina-SCI’s (a manufacturer and integrator for the healthcare industry) NPI (New Product Introduction) and projects department.

Moving to business management roles, From 2009 – 2013 Tzvika held the positions of global-programs manager and director of global-airborne-survivability-solutions business unit at Plasan-Sasa – a defense company.

For the past 5 years Tzvika is highly involved in the startup ecosystem as an entrepreneur.

In 2016 Tzvika initiated Kiinns together with Dr. Ehud Furman with the vision to eliminate cleaning processes in the food industry for better food-safety and for a much cleaner environment.

Tzvika is in the same time also an advisor to two Technion faculties – faculty of Mechanical Engineering and faculty of Aerospace Engineering, directing their external and industry relations activities.
