Immediately prior to joining Buchanan, Rod served for 13 years as director of the Office ofAcquisition and Grants Management at the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).Through Rod’s 30+ years of combined experience as the director of Acquisitions and Grants Management for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and as a senior attorney in the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the General Counsel representing CMS, he has developed considerable expertise in the field of federal acquisition.
