With over 12 years in startup and enterprise companies in various R&D fields, Idan is an entrepreneur as well as a versatile software architect.

Idan Shimon is the Co-Founder and CEO of Incert Intelligence, a cyber security company that is responding to the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) and delivers comprehensive cyber intelligence solutions for the government and homeland security sector.

Prior to Incert Intelligence, Idan Shimon served as R&D Manager and Researcher for Oggii, an IoT device, creating detailed medical profiles. Idan was responsible for clients including, Zoetis (Pfizer), the world’s largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock.

Prior to that, he was a senior software developer at Dell, where he designed infrastructure frameworks for Dell’s flagship products.

Before joining Dell, Idan was a Professional Services Engineer and Solution Architect for Axxana and was in charge of all Pre-Sales activities in EMEA, North and South America and worked with top-tier companies like EMC, Hitachi, IBM, Dell and many more.

Idan holds a BSc in computer science and business management degree from The Academic Collage of Tel Aviv-Yaffo.

During his BSc in computer science, Idan volunteered as a software engineer for MDA, Israel’s national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance service and developed a live emergency mobile application in order to reduce emergency response time. Idan has received a certificate of excellence for his project from the Academic College of Tel Aviv Yaffo.
