Timothy Sullivan

Tim Sullivan is a senior partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Thompson Coburn LLP, a law firm based in St. Louis, Missouri.   He is the chair of the firm’s Government Contracts group.  Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Tim received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1970 and a juris doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1975, where he was a member of the Georgetown Law Journal.  Tim served as a counterintelligence agent in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1973. He joined the Central Intelligence Agency in 1973, where he served as a contract negotiator until 1975.  Since 1975, Tim has specialized in representing Government contractors in all aspects of the Government contracting process.  Tim is a co-founder of the Public Contracting Institute and has lectured on negotiations since 1983.
