Ran Meged

Ran is a fighter pilot (F16), retired LTC, turned-tech-entrepreneur. Ran holds a bachelor’s degree in software engineering and management (magna cum laude), and a master’s degree in security and diplomacy (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University.
 
In 2013, Ran retired from the Israeli Air Force after a long and significant service, and relocated with his family to Singapore for two years as a senior consultant to Singapore Technologies.
 
In 2015, Ran returned to Israel and founded Hopit with a mission to perfect the exchange of knowledge and research collaboration between academic institutions, companies and researchers worldwide. Hopit is a SAAS platform being used by top universities worldwide.  
 
Ran has proven managerial experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, investment and international trade. Among other things, Ran manages programs for the realization of reciprocal acquisitions of various international corporations with the State of Israel, the Israel Lean Launchpad on behalf of the Merage Institute, a Board Member of NextFerm Technologies, and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
