Rachel Neiman

Originally from the Boston area, Rachel Neiman is a media professional whose career spans all aspects of the field.

A Massachusetts College of Art graduate, Neiman made Aliya in 1984 to continue theater design studies at Tel Aviv University.

Switching to journalism in the early ‘90s, she covered Israel’s burgeoning tech scene for LINK Magazine – Israel’s first English-language business glossy– followed by The Jerusalem Post.

Enter the Internet Age: Neiman joined the English online edition of business daily Globes in 1996 where she rose to Managing Editor.

Despite moving on from journalism in 2006, Neiman’s passion for promoting Israeli tech’s contribution to the world has never wavered, whether at PR agency Koteret, or “Beyond the Conflict” news service and Israel advocacy organization, ISRAEL21c.

As Marcom Director for BriefCam for the past 7 years, Neiman created cross-platform content, collateral and branding for an innovation-based startup, and secured coverage in leading media outlets like The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Bloomberg, CNN and more.

Since Yarok’s founding, Neiman has served in an advisory capacity, and recently joined as Marcom Director. In February 2017, she co-presented at the Food+City pitch contest, where Yarok was a Top 10 finalist.
