Maryam Rofougaran

Maryam Rofougaran is co-founder and co-CEO of Movandi Corporation, a venture-backed startup that is reinventing multi-gigabit, millimeter wave networks with innovative RF front-end technology for new applications such as 5G. Prior to Movandi, Maryam Rofougaran was a senior VP of Radio Engineering at Broadcom Corporation. She joined Broadcom in 2000 after the company she co-founded, Innovent Systems, was acquired by Broadcom.   At Broadcom Maryam led a team of more than 300 engineers worldwide who developed wireless radios for a variety of combo chip technologies, including Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS, NFC and cellular devices. The team also supported wireless radios for mobile backhaul, femtocells and other mobile network technologies. Her team developed and shipped more than one billion radio chips annually. Maryam received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.  She is a co-inventor on more than 250 U.S. patents, and has co-authored more than 45 journal and conference papers.
