Maor Aknin is a well-known cyber security expert with more than 10 years of operational experience and in-depth hands-on technical background.

Maor started his professional way in the cyber security unit in the Israeli military (IDF) as the CERT (Cyber Emergency Response Team) team leader.

These days Maor is a senior consultant at some of the biggest and most complex organizations in Israel, including National CERT (head of forensics and analysis department), Israel Defense Forces (head of CERT), National Information Security Authority (senior technology consultant), and much more.

Maor is a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Computer Science, and has a variety of certifications, including the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI) of the well-known and appreciated organization EC-COUNCIL.

Maor has years of experience in a variety of organizations and companies and has several areas of expertise, include Digital Forensics, Ethical Hacking, and Critical Infrastructure (SCADA/ICS) security.
