Maerav is the CEO and co-founder of MIST – a venture that combines her 2 deepest passions, reading and technology.

Born in Ames, Iowa as a second daughter of six to native Israeli parents. Maerav has been drawn to Sciences and technology since childhood: from high school studies majoring in technology and robotics, following with her military service as a Communications Officer for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Maerav has a B.Sc. in Math and Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA majoring in finance from Herzlia IDC.

For the past 15 years, Maerav worked for a leading aeronautical engineering company that serves the IDF and other defense companies, overseeing the Company’s Finance, Legal and HR functions and yet fortunate enough to maintain the technology side of business, specifically software simulations.

Maerav’s most significant accomplishment (and equally biggest challenge) was leading a mega development project for a major foreign client where she was involved in the negotiations, contract drafting, development and manufacturing phases.

Maerav is a wife and mother of four amazing daughters, she likes to travel with her family and when she manages to find spear time she likes to read and run.
