Hagit is the daughter of a former veteran diplomat from the Israeli Foreign Office, and traveled throughout her childhood, growing up in numerous countries (Zaire, Ethiopia, Togo, Cyprus, Greece, Brazil).

Hagit graduated from the Hebrew University High School in Jerusalem and completed her military service at the IDF as a sergeant in the renowned 8200 Unit. Hagit pursued studies in Economics, Languages, and Translation, with a passion for cross-cultural experiences. Hagit began her career working for large corporations, including a period of 7 years at one of IBM UK’s leading software development laboratories in Warwick, developing documentation and marketing materials for decision support enterprise software systems. Upon her return to Israel, Hagit joined New Dimension Software Ltd., and then BMC Software as a marketing director, leading a marketing communications team and supporting more than 120 members of the company’s North American sales team.

Over the past decade, Hagit has provided consulting services for several Israeli technology startups advising on marketing & PR strategies, and finding creative opportunities and tactics for exposure in the global market.

Hagit is an active member of the Israeli female entrepreneur community, Yazamiyot and participated over the past summer in the first cohort of the joint Microsoft Tel-Aviv Accelerator & Yazamiyot Program.
